New Jersey casinos remain competitive by offering quality gaming, dining, promotions, hotel stays, and a solid working environment. Employees want access to a fair and enjoyable working environment, with Hard Rock Casino among the best in the industry. The brand has been live in Atlantic City for Hard Rock since June 2018. The brand continues offering quality employment for its workers and recently announced a major bonus for union and non-union members.

Over $10 Million in Bonuses Provided

During a recent Town Hall event, Hard Rock Casino Atlantic City announced that over $10 million in bonuses would be awarded to union and non-union members. Along with the bonuses, employees had access to cash and prizes via contests with $100,000 in total up for grabs.

The announcement was part of Hard Rock’s continued effort to pay bonuses to team members since opening in 2018. The casino recognizes that its employees help promote an optimal environment for guests from across the US and worldwide.

The bonuses and prizes were a thank you to team members for their commitment to customer service and the resort success. The employee bonuses come just after Forbes Magazine named Hard Rock one of the Best Large Employers in America. The company has retained this title for seven years running.

Two years ago, Hard Rock announced that it would invest over $100 million to raise the salaries of its workforce in the United States. Many of these positions are located in Atlantic City. Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen commented on the bonuses and prizes, stating that the team in Atlantic City is key to the brand’s success in the market, and the company is honored to recognize them and their hard work.

Employees were excited to receive the large bonuses and have an opportunity to win prizes from the special event. The bonus deal has become a yearly option that employees look forward to every year as they celebrate the success of the brand.

Committed to Community Efforts and Updates

The leadership team of Hard Rock has provided details on the brand’s commitment to community efforts in Atlantic City and updates to its domestic and global services. The meeting also included details on the new loyalty program launched by Hard Rock titled UNITY.

The UNITY program includes incredible rewards and incentives for online and in-person guests. Players can earn and check Unity Points and Tier Credits and view personalized offers. Upcoming reservations and notifications for upcoming trips or balances that might expire can be modified.

The resort will also be celebrating its 6th anniversary this June, and there will surely be a big party or events to commemorate the occasion.

Mohegan Tribe to Exit New Jersey

As Hard Rock enjoys continued success, changes are coming to Resorts Casino Hotel. The brand will no longer be operating via the Mohegan Tribe. The tribal casino operator will continue running Resorts operations until December of this year.

Mohegan obtained a 10% interest in Resorts in 2012, and at the time, the brand was suffering from a recession that hit the Atlantic City area hard. Mohegan worked with Resorts to adapt to online gaming early in New Jersey and has done well in the iGaming segment.

According to reports, Mohegan will retain its 10% ownership of the brand. Resorts has thanked the Mohegan tribe for their support during hard times in the market, as they provided stability and direction to the company. Resorts feel they can now operate independently without an outside party's assistance.
