Frank Nagy, a New Jersey player Wins $1.1M Jackpot Prize At Tropicana

Things took a sharp turn for the better for a Monmouth County man after his wager earned him a place at the Caesar progressive jackpot winner’s board and a whopping $1.1 million pot.

The win came from a progressive jackpot prize that has been accumulated for over 2 years.

Frank Nagy who resides in Central New Jersey is the man with the pot and shockingly, he didn’t have to be a high roller to claim the prize. According to the press release by Tropicana AC on their social media account, Nagy hit the pot on the Four Card Poker Progressive with only a $5 bet.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this huge win with one of our longtime customers at Tropicana,” said Steve Callender, Regional President for Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City, in a press release. “This weekend’s MEGA jackpot is the latest example of the power of Caesars Rewards and our portfolio of resorts in the market, offering guests more ways to earn and redeem rewards – and win – in Atlantic City.”

Nagy’s jackpot goes on to become the largest on record for a progressive poker game in Caesar’s casino. Nagy declined to make any father comments on how he was going to spend his jackpot prize but he immediately did something that will melt hearts.

Nagy graced the pockets of the dealers on shift with $50,000. That’s a large tip even in a casino where wins are recorded every day. While Nagy’s prize might look like a large sum, it has actually been building since August of 2019.

Still, that doesn’t mean you would have to wait several months to claim a jackpot prize just like Nagy. If Nagy has proven anything, clearly, you don’t have to wager much to hit gold. You might even require a wager of less than $5 to make a similar return.

If Nagy’s prize has motivated you to try your luck at a new pot, you will find a few at Caesars’ AC properties. You will find several poker games to try out which could help you claim a prize.  These include

  • Texas Hold’em
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em
  • Let It Ride
  • Four Card Poker
  • Mississippi Stud Poker
  • Three Card Poker

Note that, you won’t find any of these games in the poker rooms, rather you will have to check the casino’s table games section. There are quite a few requirements to qualify for a chance at the jackpot prize. To get your shot, you would have to add an additional $5 progressive wager before each hand.

NJ – Home of Jackpots

Luck is in the air with Nagy’s win and this gives players hungry to take home a huge prize more reasons to never give up at the casino tables.

It shouldn’t be too long before another lucky person wins the same jackpot prize or an even bigger jackpot prize. Hopefully, the dealers at the table can look forward to bigger tips when the next casino patron claims the pot.

The last recorded jackpot win in NJ was at BetMGM casino where a lucky lady landed a massive win of $3.2 million.

This win came from BetMGM Luck O’ The Jackpot progressive slot which went on to set a new record. This win was incredibly massive not just because it was the biggest, but because it was cashed out of a $2 wager. Previously another lucky player had claimed a whopping $1.5 million on Betfair’s Let it Ride. However, both this win and Nagy’s pot prize do not come close to the record holder.
